New Media Storytellers helps service-oriented companies, institutions and pro bono organizations succeed by telling their stories in authentic and powerful ways.
Since our beginnings over 25 years ago, we’ve maintained our research-based focus on storytelling as the way human beings organize and communicate vital information. The company has shared years of success with schools, physician groups, private schools and non-profits.

New Media Storytellers was founded in 1995 by Bill Plante, an award-winning journalist and communication specialist.
Our company is a family business that has evolved from a producer of multimedia educational programs to a full-service video production company with a focus on digital marketing. In early years, the business was run from home. The children in that home grew up amidst the tools of the trade, and being talented, became successful producers in their own right.
Joe Plante, while in his early teens, shot and edited nationally-distributed roller blading videos, as well as hundreds of hours of programming for New Media clients.
Chris Plante, Joe’s younger brother, delved deep into the world of audio, and continues to score major programs for our clients.
Today Chris runs a very successful audio production business, CP Pro Audio, and is a go-to resource for original audio for programs that are seen worldwide. His ability and his incredible studio are an important and unique resource of New Media.
Ashley Plante, younger sister of Joe and Chris, cut her teeth as a photographer while growing up in the business. In 2014 she founded Analogue Weddings and built the business into a thriving wedding photography business. Ashley is an elite, nationally respected photographer whose powerful eye and devotion to New Media are important assets.
Alex Sandman, Ashley’s partner, is a top-notch editor who also runs a successful video equipment rental business that we rely on for major production. As an editor, he is an important member of New Media’s “deep bench” for our largest projects.
